Transcendence for a new decade..

I created the dragonfly painting just before Christmas, and enjoyed the challenge of working with water and the iridescence of the dragonfly wings. The meaning of the dragonfly is of transcendence above old ideas to see the bigger picture and to embrace new opportunities. This oil painting is on a 20x20cm stretched canvas and is available as a limited edition print and greetings card.
