Hiding out at the allotment

During the lockdown, life for my little family between painting, homeschooling and working on a new store in France, has been spent hiding out at our allotment. There we can focus on growing our vegetables for the next 4 seasons, digging and build new structures and find solace from the craziness of the worldwide lockdown. It's great for family bonding. My daughter has her own garden where she grows fruit and flowers. There we feel free to create outside and can almost forget all the rules and regulations that overshadow our lives at this time.

Owlsbury allotments are so beautiful. They encompass a meadow surrounded by beautiful farmland. If you arrive early and sneak in quietly, you can catch the birds who have taken over the meadow in the absence of human activity. If you go there as the sun goes down, it is so tranquil and ethereal it is almost magical.

Growing organic vegetables is such a creative activity. From designing your space, creating structures and just finding the calm space to mull over ideas.
