An Odyssey through Lavender

I have wanted to return to the Lavender Fields for a few years now and was surprised when experimenting with skies one day to music, that this painting started to appear. The hazy purples, blues and pinks complemented by the yellow sun and sunset pink and orange colours were captivating and magnetic, pulling me in to the picture and taking me on a journey through the lavender fields. I could almost smell and touch the intoxicating blissful aroma of the lavender in the setting sun. The oak tree must be the most joyful tree in the world. Just heavenly...
