Promise of Spring

As a child born in the spring, this season is definitely the best time of the year for me. This year seems to feel so much colder though... So I have felt so much relief in my heart by moving forward in time on my canvas to May when all the bluebells are out, creating a carpet of purples and blues across the woodland floor. With the warm sunshine filtering through the fresh tree leaves, dancing in the sunlight it is such good respite.

So, as promised, here is the first of my Spring Elemental series. This time, a badger family play in the bluebells with the butterflies and flower fairies fluttering around them.
